Instant Kuzhi Paniyaram


  • Rava – 2cup
  • Thick Curd – ½cup
  • Onion, finely chopped -1nos
  • Green Chili, finely chopped- 2nos (adjust to your spice level)
  • Curry leaves, finely chopped – 5~6nos
  • Coriander leaves, finely chopped – 1bunch
  • Ginger, crushed – 1tsp
  • Garlic, crushed – 1tsp
  • Cooking Soda – ½tsp
  • Salt – 1tsp (adjust to your taste)
  • Oil – to fry


  • Mix rava & curd well without lumps
  • In a pan add mustard, green chilies, ginger, garlic, onion, fry well
  • Add above, salt, cooking soda, water to rava mix well to get to a batter consistency
  • Allow the batter to rest for 15~20min
  • Fry the batter in kuzhi paniyaram tawa until golden brown
  • Serve hot with chutney/ketchup
