Peanuts Sundal

Ingredients

  • Peanuts – 2cup
  • Green Chili, finely chopped – 1tsp (adjust to your spice level)
  • Ginger, finely chopped – 1tsp
  • Mustard – ½tsp
  • Turmeric Powder – ½tsp
  • Asafetida – 1pinch
  • Chinna Dhal – ½tsp
  • Urad Dhal – ½tsp
  • Amchur – 1tsp
  • Oil – 1tbsp
  • Salt – ½tsp
  • Fresh Curry leaves – 1bunch
  • Fresh Coriander – 1bunch

Method

  • Pressure cook peanuts, salt with 2cups of water
  • Drain water, keep aside
  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Add mustard, allow it to splutter
  • Add channa dhal, urad dhal, fry until golden brown
  • Add turmeric powder, asafetida, mix well
  • Add curry leaves, fry well
  • Add ginger, green chili, fry well
  • Add peanuts, amchur, mix well
  • Garnish with coriander leaves
  • Serve hot
